What Software Do We Use?

We operate using the absolute best in business in terms of application systems, software and personnel. We employ Landmark's COMPASS and WELLPLAN for all of our directional well design and modeling. We apply or expertise to quickly optimize simple or complex trajectories based on safety, cost, time and feasibility.

What Is Our Experience?

The Owner and lead well planner, Matthew May leveraged his experience and founded PROTOTYPE in 2011, and has been successfully fielding requests from all corners of the industry.

He worked on the rig location in the field doing Wellbore Surveying, Whipstock Orientations, and Casing Kick-Offs. From there he held positions as a senior on-shore and off-shore well planner/ "in-house" well planner for major operators like Exxon, Apache and EnergyXXI.
